Saturday night Raven-Symoné celebrated the release of Tinkerbell's "Secret of the Wings" at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater
in New York. Raven-Symoné voices light fairy Iridessa. Tinkerbell's "Secret of the Wings" is avaliable today on Blu-Ray and DVD!

Who doesn't know Raven Symone? Even in Germany, our favorite American actress and singer is indeed getting more popular with a growing fan base. She is one of the trending topics in German Fanshare, an interactive online community with over a hundred thousand members. Her portrayal of the role of Deloris in the original Broadway musical production of “The Sister Act” is one of the reasons why she appeals to the German crowd apart from her numerous soundtracks of Disney’s musical flicks such as Cheetah Girls and Tinker Bell. Not to mention, she was also a princess and a friend of Anne Hathaway in Princess Diaries 2. Too bad the German adaptation of “The Sister Act” at Operettenhaus in Hamburg features the vocals of their local stage actor Carolina Dijkhuizen as Deloris. It was a local adaptation then, not a theatrical tour.
It has also been reported recently that Raven Symone is getting married to her long-time girlfriend AzMarie Livingston from the cycle 18 of America’s Next Top Model. Rumor has it, she wants first lady Michelle Obama to officiate at her dream wedding. Raven at the age of 26 is planning to be wed in New York City where same-sex marriage is largely accepted. There is a big possibility that Michelle Obama will support this because the Obamas have been firm believers of marriage equality. Plus, the Obama daughters Malia and Sasha are avid fans of Raven. Besides, she gives us happiness with her soulful voice and she has always been an inspiration. There is no buzz about an upcoming album yet. In her recent interview with Broadway.com, she told the journalist that the music she had been working on "isn't going to sell and is something personal." She is more focused on doing stage and TV productions right now over releasing a studio album.

is back on stage as the star of a Broadway musical. The actress-singer is set to take over the lead role in the musical Sister Act based on the hit 1992 movie,
replacing Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier. Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the film and its sequel, produces the Broadway adaptation featuring original
music by Alan Menken, which opened in April 2011. Raven-Symoné is slated to begin rehearsals at the end of February and hit the stage of the Broadway Theatre at the
end of March for a minimum six-month engagement. Miller originated the role of Deloris both in the West End and Broadway productions of Sister Act, making her
Broadway debut. Raven-Symoné is with UTA and Untitled.
